Every Thursday night at Horace Mann is Family Library Night.
- The library is open for families from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
- Come and check out books, work on homework, read as a family, and much more.
- Students must be accompanied by an adult.
- Enter through the blue door on the outside of the library.
- We want our school to be an important part of the community, so come join us at Family Library Night
We are so excited about our Road to Success reading incentive. Ken Garff and many other great sponsors support our school through this great program. The goal is to get students to develop the great habit of reading 20 minutes a day, which helps them become more successful in all things. Students turn in their minutes to their teachers and we keep a running total of minutes read on a poster in the 2nd grade hall. Our goal is to reach 1,500,000 minutes for the year. There are periodic incentives that are distributed to students throughout the year and at the end of the year there will be a drawing for prizes including 4 bikes and higher education savings accounts in students’ names. Please help us make our students successful by encouraging them to read. If you have any questions about Road to Success please contact Mr. B in the Library.
